Do you think Jennifer Government will find John Nike? Jennifer Government is a hardworking, ambitious woman. She knows what she wants and will do anything to get it. In the book, it seems like she is the best at what she does. I think Jennifer Government is actually going through the hero's journey. The pursuit of John Nike is her call to action. The further she gets to finding John Nike, the deeper she gets into her journey. I definitely think she will find John Nike just because she is so determined to. And also, it seems like there is a connection between the two because Jennifer is just so interested in him. This just makes her chances of finding him more likely. Why does Hack Nike agree to do just about anything? Hack Nike makes a lot of mistakes. His poor decisions cause bad things to happen. One of these things is agreeing to sign a contract to kill people who buy Mercury Nike shoes. Hack Nike is easily persuaded to do things. I think that his desire for acceptance and his want to stay on peoples' good side pushes him to give in all of the time. He also just wants to stay out of trouble. Hack doesn’t want to stick out in the world, he just wants to live his life and get in nobody's way. But unfortunately his choices cause bad effect, which is something he tries to avoid. Why does Buy Mitsui bring up killing himself? Buy Mitsui seems to hate his life. He doesn't enjoy his job and he gives me the image of always being depressed and angry. But Buy Mitsui is also an alcoholic. Buy thinks that drinking will take away his problems, but they don’t. We all know that alcohol will just make you worse in the end. I believe that his loneliness and his failure in the workplace cause him to be like this. Buy separates himself from others, which leaves him to do things on his own. Then he brings up the idea of killing himself. This comes from the combination of all his problems. But for some reason, I believe that Buy Mitsui will bring his life back together and fix everything at some point. Ifthe job doesn’t seem right, whydoes Violet take it? Violet has created some type of software that can overrun a network or computer. She takes it to a company to try and sell it, but they end up offering her a job. Violet is smart, and she has been working hard to make money on her own. She also doesn't even have a job. When Exxon mobile offers her a job, she seems like she deserves it, so she takes it. Even though the terms of the job aren't right, she agrees to work for them because she wants to make money. That’s the mistake Hack made. She signed a bad contract just so she can make more money. It's pretty much all about money. But what these characters don’t seem to know is that more money creates more problems.
Should this story be a happy ending? I believe that all hero journeys should have a happy ending. The only two options you have during you're journey is failure or success. Jennifer Government works way too hard to just give up and fail. I would be suprised if the author decided to ruin her journey. A possibility of the ending is that she could complete her journey, but start a whole new one immediately. This makes sense because she works for the government, so more things are bound to happen. The ending doesn't necessarily have to be happy, i'd say more of a completetion. Without completion, you can't move on, or it would just be hard to.
